Japan day 4

Todays to-do list was:

– NHK Tv-station
– Osaka Castle
– And Den Den town electric stores

First visit was to NHK – Osaka Broadcasting Station, Japans biggest TV-station.

The home of Domo-kun.

Live morning show.

Max reading the news in English.

He did well. Can you see his backpack in the pic, lol.

Teemu did the weather broadcast – he failed.

Blue screen testing.

Domo-kun and Domo-kun.

Guys testing their acting talents 🙂 It was on the national morning TV-show for kids…

Then we checked the palace near by NHK, the Osaka Castle.

Sumimasen! Japanese are always bowing, so are we – sumimasen…

The rock walls were enormous. 60m2 & 130 tons.

Emperors’ Osaka palace.

The photographing was limited to just a few floors, so no more pics.
Tons of cool Samurai swords, costumes, art etc.

Deep moats to protect the castle.

Japan is well known of its elecrtic stores. Ofcourse we had to go and check it out! So we walked to Den Den Town.

On the way we stopped at the mall, in front we saw this Merc.

During exhausting shopping, it’s good to chill and relax.
The malls atmospere was pretty royal.

HyperREV books in the Junkenda book store.

Pretty cool looking pet store.

Dog shaped tree.

Juhis in bike paradise.

De Rosa specials.

Tons of top quality bikes & parts. Great find.

Street view of Den Den town.

The Osaka mega-super-hyper electronic play ground.

Then we found a place called “Kids Land” – yeah…
This place was sick. Floor after floor, stuff you just had to have.

Juhis found a new car… Gunmetal BNR32 Tamiya Collector’s Club…
There was 6-floors full of all this stuff. About 150 other GT-R diecast models.

Witch one to chose, Bososoku or the Top Secret!?!

Big enough? HKS BNR32 model.

A few metallic small scale skylines, well about 200 of them!

Gundam’s robot store.

Random heavy hitter, GTS25 4-door racer.

Evo with Kansai goodies at Den Den car park cruising.

There were more cars, but not that much light, so no more good pics.

Some random stuff from the Osaka streets. Well it felt real 😀

Tomorrow we move to Tokyo –>
